Ever since Kanye West's depart from Nike, his journey with Adidas Originals has taken an illustrious turn for the better.
Back in early 2015 when Kanye released the Yeezy Boost 750, the world went crazy. Ever since then, models such as the 350, 750 and 950 have released, all selling out within minutes and having resale prices upwards of 1,000 USD. Everyone wants the coveted sneaker, and if you are like most of the general public and don't have 1,000+ to spend on shoes, here are some tips on being able to cop the Yeezy's every time.
Adidas Confirmed app
The Adidas confirmed app is an app for people who live close enough to Adidas retail outlets. A few days before release day, people with the app are given a set day and time which they can access a page on the app and reserve their pair. You have to be extremely quick in doing so or your pair may not be reserved.
Adidas Original's Twitter
Most if not everyone has a Twitter account. But if you do, follow Adidas Originals on Twitter to get updates on their next releases. Typically on release day, they tweet out when the shoes are live. Or better yet, sign up for their news through email for upcoming releases.
Which stores stock
It's always good to find which stores stock the shoes. In case the store you originally were on is sold out of the shoes, its always good to have other options. However, Adidas.com will always have the most stock of shoes since they are the original supplier.
Early to bed, early to rise
Just like being early to an amusement park or a grocery store, you want to get there first before the rest of the people. The same concept applies to buying the Yeezy's for retail. The earlier you are to wake up, the earlier you are to be on the website first and beat all the other people and bots to it. Which we'll get to in a second...
Add to cart services
Add to cart services and bots are usually frowned upon as they ruin the sneaker game. However, if you are desperate enough for the sneakers, you could shell out around 100+ USD for a bot. AIO bot is a good place to start looking for a bot, and the bot gets lifetime updates. However, purchasing a bot may have major repercussions and does not always mean you will get the shoes you want. Using a bot may result in a permanent ban from Adidas.com and purchasing any of their products. Adidas is always updating their websites to prevent bots from buying sneakers and giving ordinary people a chance to cop them. Some people have found a way around the system and have been doing computer magic called "Proxying". The result of this is that their IP address gets changed, resulting in not being banned by Adidas. If you are desperate enough to buy a bot, we in no way support this action.
Instore, online and email raffles
Before release day, it is always a good idea to enter in as many raffles as you can. This will increase your chances of buying the shoe even if you do not get it on release day. There are many online and Instagram raffles as well, so check social media for updates on who has raffles occurring.
Multiple devices
Never limit yourself to just one computer or phone, use multiple devices to increase your odds of getting the shoes. To add to this, have your friends with you doing the same as well. You can tag team with them, so you can all get the shoes you want on release day. When on the website, do NOT hit refresh in the online waiting queue as this will reset your position in line.
Happy shopping!
Once all this is complete, all you can do is cross your fingers and hope for the best. We hoped this helped you. Happy shopping, and be prepared for release day!
